That is one big-ass patch... I guess I'll play tomorrow instead after waiting for this sucker to download. But atleast they keep fixing the game constantly, don't really care if they have to patch the whole darn game (as it would seem with sizes like this).

Anyone else come across huge patch files?

The Test Drive Unlimited Car Megapack was pretty big, if that qualifies as a patch...

Or, how about the "routine" "upgrades" to Steam games? I have to always play in offline mode to get the games to work, or just leave it running overnight -_-

My biggest patch was ProStreet's 432MB 1.02 patch for PS3. Or at least it was in the 400MB mark, not sure about it. Certainly not the longest to download though. I bought Buzz! Quiz TV for PS3 while I was capped and after waiting a day to download PS3 firmware 2.52, I had to wait two days for the Buzz! patch to dl!

Planetside's patches were pretty epic. Especially if you got the game in the previous 6 months.

My friend played WoW. They had a lot of huge patches. Some even 900MB.

Couldn't stand such a big download. The Call of Duty World at War 1.4 patch was about 500mb (it contained 4 new maps) And it took me about 5 hours!

The sacred 2 patch is 1gb lenght...
But with 700kb/s speed it doesn't take too long to me ^^

Team Fortress 2 is quite large as well. In content and changes, at least.
