WHO CARES????
First- i want to thank EA for making another sequal to NFS.
Second- who cares if it's not as good as the other games? ProStreet sucked if you ask me. there was no free roam. no place to test the very limits of your Skyline. Designers have enough problems trying to work out bugs in prototypes. i completed Undercover in december. im still playing the game. as other memebers have said, the DJ in ProStreet pissed me off 'cause he NEVER SHUT UP!!!! Undercover had the best graphics of all NFS games. especially in the opening movie. i was stunned by the intensity. thanks for listening. ^_^

Re: WHO CARES????
The last time I checked the Name of the game was Need for Speed. not Need for Freeroam. I actually liked ProStreet. It returned the actual Racing aspect back to the game and toilet flushed a lot of un-needed crap.. however you are entitled to your opinion so i bid thee farewell.

If taking a step backwards in quality and still paying full retail price is okay with you, then EA has done their job of Supply and Demand.topsy kret1 wrote: who cares if it's not as good as the other games?
Its their job. Dont patronize the concept.topsy kret1 wrote:Designers have enough problems trying to work out bugs in prototypes.

Let's see.. Warez?
And I wouldn't consider, nor qualify ProStreet as street racing, despite its name. They're pretty much more track-based tracks instead of street tracks.

ProStreet isn't street racing, it's track racing. I don't know why many sites mislabel it as "street racing". Must be an old rumor which hasn't been updated.topsy kret1 wrote:ProStreet ^_^

I don't think you need to play any game through entirely to find out if it's bad or not.topsy kret1 wrote:i expected that you went to a friend. did you play through the whole game?

Re: WHO CARES????
ok...i'll give you that one. i didn't need to play all of Halo3 to find out how BS Bungie is. anyway, i think the fact that they even came out with a sequal is a generous thought. i know, "it's their job; don't patronize it" but what if they didn't come out with a sequal? what if they decided to cancel SHIFT?

Re: WHO CARES????
I think the rumor stems from the fact that the game's titled ProStreet. People seem to think that means street racing is invovled and completely ignore the prefix Pro. The game is more like taking the racing done on streets to a professional level (there's hints in ProStreet that the main character is the same street racer from the past 4 games). Professional racing, by definition, occurs on tracks rather than on streets, and is more often than not sanctioned events that actually have organizations sponsoring them.Nitrodemon McLaren wrote:ProStreet isn't street racing, it's track racing. Re: WHO CARES????
i agree. there's nothing street about it. it's all sponsored events annouced by some DJ who knows all about "Ryan Cooper". WHO IS HE?!! i never named any of my NFS profiles "Ryan Cooper". where did they come up with it?
