SHOWROOM QUESTION - UPLOAD PROBLEM
This might seem ridiculously simple to most people but I have a problem in regards to the process of uploading screenshots. I own a PC and I took the picture of my car using the printscreen key. I then attempted to paste directly onto my desktop but the paste button was greyed out so I pasted it into a word document. The picture of my car showed up fine. I then dragged the picture onto the desktop but it appears as a scrap. Assuming that the scrap wouldn't show up and that you'd have a jpeg or similar word file how do I paste my printscreen as a jpeg file?
Re: SHOWROOM QUESTION - UPLOAD PROBLEM
Press printscreen in the game, then alt tab out and open MS Paint -> start run mspaint, make sure the white area is small (resize it so it is small), then press ctrl-v (or edit - paste).
Once the ingame image appears, press file - save as and select JPEG as type. You can upload the saved image to our showroom then.

much appreciated, thanks

Try using GIMP... a free photoshop-like image editor. If you're trying to take high res pics, this will give you better control over quality, compression, editing, colour correction, and can handle large resolutions.

Re: SHOWROOM QUESTION - UPLOAD PROBLEM
yeah I've uploaded a couple of cars so far but I think I made the pics a bit too small. Learn from your mistakes though I guess.
Is there a perticular site you'd recommend downloading it from?Baumaxx1 said...

Or you can try SnagIt 9 by TechSmtih, but it will cost you when the trial period ends.

Re: SHOWROOM QUESTION - UPLOAD PROBLEM
while we're at it, is there a good recording program, prefferably free? I tried camstudio but it is too low quality for recording in game footage. I guess that's the case with free programs though hey!
