Just installed carbon, applied patch 1.3 , made sure it was right one(EU)
trying to log on my account(online, not save game)
"Logging in to EA Nation screen"
"CRASH"
...what the hell? i can't log on because it crashes EVERY single time. i went as far as checking on ea site if the game was registered on THIS account with THIS CD KEY. and it is registered. passwords are right, doesnt matter if i turn auto log on or off.
won't even bother myself with asking EA support because all it will do is just frustrate me even more.
Here we go again, EA.

I have a similar problem in my PS3 version. I haven't played Carbon in a while, but from memory the workaround I found was to turn off automatic sign-in and to sign in manually to EA Nation after loading my profile.

but apparently i tried both with auto log on(made me crash as soon as i loaded up a profile) and auto log off, made me crash as soon as i tried to log in.
it crashes just as , i suppose, game wants to bring out the next screen. but if i try any other passwords etc just for the trying, it does not crash, it brings up the wrong password menu. quite weird...ill be trying some more but i doubt ill get anything out of it.

Yes my problem is the same as you describe.

Did you try loading your profile, then signing in? That's what works for me - I have to load the profile first, then sign in to EA Nation once the profile is loaded.

exactly how i do.
Start up the game.
wait for the movies to go away .
load my profile.
go to options.
online.
log in.
type in name and password.
switch auto log off
click log in.
Connecting to Ea Nation.
*boom*

Argh. Gotta start a new profile I guess.

did you mean a save game(not much problem) or EA profile(big problem, gotta buy new CDKEY for that(old one is registered to the account i cant log on)

Indeed. theres no players online, and there is not a single thing i can do about it
