A couple of friends of mine actually crafted a free roam track from Starlight Street. It's our World Loop. We've yet to accomplish this due to the servers.

sounds fun and probably contains racing on the highways, because as far as i remember there are no tracks that use highways a lot....oh, can european players play with the american players etc or is it somehow related to servers..?Andre_online wrote:A couple of friends of mine actually crafted a free roam track from Starlight Street. You're connected to the world. I played with German and French players most of the time.
The route that we've created for the massive world loop does involve the use of the highway - A LOT. If you use a typical tuned Tier 3 cars, it'd take about an average 13 minutes to get to the plotted finishing point.
This is the route that we came up with:

my graphics card broke down, so im using a 8500 GT, which can barely run carbon(well, not that barely). 1280x1024 resolution, every single detail turned off/down and 60 fps comes up
13 minutes with a Tuner, so other cars are alot faster?
also i asked for the server thing because i seem to be unable to find any players so far..guess im trying at wrong moments. hope we meet online one day and race a bit.

Wow! I've completely forgotten to reply to this. Haha!
About the servers, it's not about wrong timing. NFS Carbon's online server has been unresponsive for this past year, and we're not able to create any game rooms at all. That explains why you're not seeing anybody online anymore these days.
I can accomplish the big track in a tuned Lotus Elise at around 15 minutes. 13 minutes was accomplished using a tuned Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. If you use a Corvette, you might achieve a better timing, yes. But I just hate the handling of that car.

im seriously surprised...maybe they are using the same servers for World Online, and as preparation for beta they are testing them now and this is the side effect?(lol conspiracy theory)Andre_online wrote:OK, for some reason, online mode is back again. tried hosting my own game: failureAndre_online wrote:One can only guess.. But whatever the reason is, I'm just stoked it's back in working condition.
tried joining a "quick" unranked match: failure
tried hosting unranked: failure
tried hosting ranked: succeed but no players.
sent you a friend invite: succeed
managed to play after waiting so-damn-long, lost twice because: i cant handle a muscle car for shiznit, and second, because Z06 is overrated. i drove PERFECTLY with my Skyline, he was making mistakes , one of them being REALLY bad and he still won.
