Tuning cars like R35 Proto via hex-editing?

There, i bought the Proto aware that it was not tunable, but i thought it would only exclude bodykit tuning, i can't even change the rims or color of the car. Now, would it be possible to hex-edit the color of the car? like changing that silver color to anything else? i don't want to rice the car really(who would) but not being able to even change the base color is just overkill on EA's side.

can i hex edit my 350z to be GRIP mode instead of DRIFT mode without losing all the decals and vinyls on it?(not going to try and re-do 1 hour and 30 minutes of work, im too lazy)

Actually, answer to second one is yes. You'll have to look through the hex editing threads on ProStreet, because I no longer remember how to do it.
And answer to first one is a partial yes. The car color can be changed to black. It just doesn't have the color palette that other cars do.
