I recently borrowed NFSU from a friend and when I installed I found three things wrong

1) No Vinyls at all
2) No Movies (not a major problem)
3) No Music (don't listen to it anyway)

I requested help from EA about this (what a waste of time)
I would really like to add vinyls to my car but I can't as there not there
I've reinstalled the game a few times on a couple of different PC's only to have the same problem.

Could someone upload/e-mail me a copy of the original vinyls.bin as it isn't being installed and it doesn't appear to be on the disc which is an original.

Is your friends cd a legally buyed one?. Buy the game yourself. It is worth it!

Yes the discs are legal ones
He bought it second-hand so the warranty is no longer valid
It's just a shame that it hasn't installed these parts that's why I'm seeking help.

I would buy it but I would like to play the game with all the features before I put down my hard earned cash

Are there any sites hosting a copy of the vinyl.bin as it's a shame not being able to use this feature.

Yep it was a full install then i put the latest patch on
I live in the UK but it is a US version of the game
I used the US patch

the data for the missing files doesn't seem to be on the discs but the install went through with no errors and the game still plays except for these missing features

that's the wierdest thing I've heard for a while... I have no idea what that is, if the game is lega.

i found the same thing when after adding 1.4europe patch & PiZZADOX profile.
and then the no movie disable patch you get a almost transparent car.
just an ider do you & your frend have a ATI or Nvidia cards or both,


i have an ati running latest driver.

i knew this problem on ilegal discs but on legal.... its wery interesting...

no can or will send you the original files from this site.
