Need for Speed: Shift 2 confirmed in EA Q1 financials

EA’s just confirmed Need for Speed: Shift 2 is in development, putting it down for a Q4 FY2011 release.

Well technically, one is being developed by Black Box and Shift 2 will be developed by Slightly Mad Studios.

Hopefully the next time they will put some more thought into online play. Like different championships, more car ratings available to race. There are loads of cars that are rated over 14 but are no use in online play as everyone (me included)uses the Mercialago and Zonda for unrestricted races. and even more tracks available.
Anyway will be good to see how it developes over the months/year.
