You really think so? I haven't seen a good DE for go for under $500 yet; hell people are trying to get $1,000 off of fresh rebuilds. Plus I'm hoping I get a good hundred bucks or so for the short-block in the S13 now. He threw in the ECU, vacuum & power-steering lines and reservoir; everything I need for the swap but his wiring harness and tach.

It's been how many months now? Time for an update!
After I fully recovered from a sports-related concussion, I finally had time to start digging into the car again. I've picked up a load of goodies and have put in way too many hours of work to count, but it's finally coming together. I picked up a new oil pan to replace my leaky one, replaced the rear main-seal as well as the housing, cleaned up the block a bit, replaced the broken exhaust studs, and just did some general maintenance before dropping the DE into her new home. (BY MYSELF. Thanks, a-hole friends who ditched me at 1am!)
I'll spare you the list of everything I've bought. It ranges from a list of Rota Grids to S15 seats, all the way down to new throttle cables. A lot of money has gone into elaborate and over-priced parts, but I regret nothing. I've fallen in love with the setup. Besides the +11 offset wheels, that is. Gotta' do something with them...
Nonetheless, PICS!

Sorry for the number of pictures. I was trying to condense five months of work into one post.
As it sits now, it needs the power steering system hooked up, and the PS/water-pump belt installed. If it wasn't for the fact that the water pump uses the same belt as the power steering pump, it'd be running. Turns out it's harder to find a cheap DOHC pump than one would think, so I'm resorting to using my SOHC for a month or two, until I can find one made for the KA-DE. Besides that it needs exhaust gaskets for the cat-back, and A/C lines for the compressor.
Oh, and paperwork. Lots of paperwork. Damn DMV...
Hopefully, if I'm lucky, she'll get cranked for the first time tomorrow. If not, then it will probably be sometime this weekend. Depends on when that belt comes in and how long it takes me to get everything filled with fluids and bled.
Thanks for looking, and sorry for the delay!

I removed the IMG tags from the pictures, since I had forgotten that the forum doesn't automatically resize. Sorry for making you click links, but it's probably easier anyway.
