I'm just getting back into playing this after a few monthes away from it. I'm currently stuck on race 86, but Ive looked ahead on a few guides over at GameFAQS, and I saw that you can only have one wide body kit.

Which one is better? Does one look really good on certain cars? Can someone post a few pictures or links of each?

It all depends by your "taste"
btw, I think one is good for half and the other for the other half....but there are cars that become ugly with widebody...

the best choise is get unique unlocker....
So when you pass 111th race youll get one of wides and then run that utility and unlock another one....
I did and got 2 wides....

yeah, agree with viper. However, I prefer Vapor at 80% of the cars
I suggest you to take your favorite car at underground mode, in order to have it when you have to choose the wide body (about 106th - 109th race).

If you are no sure, take Vapor

Or quit the idea of wide body kits altogether .. Anyone with a bit of taste thinks they suck, me included.

Some widebodys are nice on some cars,but i like cars without widebodys,but if you want to use widebody i perfer mantis,vapor is for ''sic'' cars...

My three favorite cars are the 350z, the RSX and the Lancer. Can anyone direct me to some pics in the showroom, showing some of these with wide body kits on them?

I have a Lancer with the vapor wide body kit which makes it look like the Evo version. This 1 is also in the showroom (2nd most viewed)

Well I'm in the process of playing through the game using every car to complete a profile. Needless to say I've been a bit lax on playing through my current profile(#11), however, I've made PLENTY of cars. What with the showroom challenges and all, course that said back on topic eh? It DOES depend on taste. What I reccomend is do your best to get through a profile and pick out the widebody that looks best on whatever car you are using. The other thing is that even if you choose a widebody kit you can go just go back to no wide body in the next race. I also reccomend that you do at least 1 more profile with the other widebody kit so that you have the ability to make custom cars with both.

People seem to think that it's super hard to play underground mode I've done about 11 profiles all on HARD for every race, using different cars Practice makes perfect.

Vapor's the best. Well, at least for the cars I like, liek rx-7. Matis is GREAT on skyline. But most cars i dont liek wide bods. Some are terrible.

The Lancer widebody's cheating, all it does it make it look like an Evo 9.

EVO 9??? The latest is VIII. If you know Roman numbers it is 8 (v=5 ; III=3 : 5+3=8 ) lol

Mantis is better in: S2000 in Golf in RSX in Integra in Sentra and in RX-7, Civic.......
Vapor is better in the other ones.....

After voting +130 Mazda MX5 @ TC, I have noticed that people like widebodys. Why? Because it is easier to make a car? More quick? ....

I hate widebodys in little cars, so I applied my own rule: widebody: -7p
no widebody:+7p

Widebodys are suitable to long cars, such as Skyline. And looks pretty in 350z, for example
