SO does Need for Speed get bad PC ports or is it because of the frost bite engine because the Run wasn't that optimized

I don't think they allow off site URLs for new users, and since I'm one, I can't fix your link.
Anyways, tried using this fix a couple days ago with my 7970, and I got even worse lag when it dipped to less than 35 FPS when the action got thick. I ended up making my own version by simply changing 60 to 40, and it gives me the best all around performance.

What are your specs? It may not matter, though, if the port is as bad as they say.
