My friend CasmUl decided to mess around with NFSU and found out how to see the REAL engine available without a hood!!!!

But still hasn't been able to make it run the game WITHOUT it crashing!!!

You can see the motor and everything, chromed out or anywhich way you like.... the problem is that if u try to run the game by entering a race or run undeground mode it will crash.....

Another problem is that my Friend wont tell me how he did it... (BAStard)

But it is POSSIBLE!!!! hope one of you gurus can figure it out....

PROPS to WHOEVER DOES FIRST or LAST..... im still trying...

BUt i know it has something to do with the geometry.bin and te vinyl.bin of which ever car u want to see the engine on

MS the guy who did that was DoR. he said he managed to swap a taxi with a BMW but his friend did that with a real car.

And we all know what a load of crap that was. Dor ketp telling me to email that guy and ask him myself. Apparently he saw it. LMAO.
Running without hood is I guess possible, may be he needs to activate whatever he does to the car, to make sure all AI are running without a hood so its consistent. So I guess it can be done. But while having a brand new car is interesting, having a car run without hood is absolutely pointless. Not like it aids cooling or smth.

i like to mess around even if i do wreck the bin file, heck i got a backup, And whats arushan up to now a days???

Why "some wierd guys like it"? I have made see thru hoods for all the cars and uploaded 3 of them to the site. Im not "wierd".I like to run with it.If you dont like it,fine,but dont make that type of comments.

well if you can eliminate the car and have only wheels , that means you can edit parts of the car.... Like in Gan Turismo.... move the POINTS of the car. That was how i got started....in Gran Turismo... edditing the points on each car with my favorite tool...GAmesharK Pro...editing the memory addresses of the car and also the memory addresses of the upgrades and engine... it was real fun, until NFSU came around.... so i gave up modifieing gran turismo 2 and went on to better things...

Didn't anyone here modify Cars in Gran Turismo??? Does anyone even know what im taling about....lol
