Is it possible to change ur name?? My current NFSU profile name is "Sam" but i want it to be "Shorty". Is it possible?? i dont care if it requires stuffing around with files.

Hmm... try to go to your NFS Undergound Saved Files at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NFS Underground.

Then try changing the name of the files (i.e Sam.cfg, Sam.opt, Sam_autosave.ugd) which is Sam. I think there're about more than 5 stuffs, change everything to Shorty and leave the ".xx" alone.

IF THAT doesn't work, might as well create a new profile.

make sure to back your files up first.

Simple:

- Make a copy of your savegame files (find them [@ C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NFS Underground]) somewhere on your HDD
- Delete all the files within the NFS Underground profiles folder.
- Start NFSU and create a new username, in your case Shorty (if you're using multiple profiles, make new ones for those too)
- Close NFSU and go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NFS Underground
- Next step is TRICKY: Go to the place you 'left' the backup files. Copy all of them again, BUT: DONT copy the file Profiles.usr. Paste the profile files (without Profiles.usr) in the NFS Underground profiles folder
- Last step is, rename all ' sam ' with ' shorty '

If its oke, you should be able to use your new profile name!
