I can't put a pic of the full bike cause it is disassembled... (winter time time for maintenance!)
but I can take some pics of it (frame is to the shop to be restickerd (big decals from NOS and HKS just kiddin....)
but it is a SCOTT USA PRO RACING series:
frame: polished Alloy (no paint = less weight!)
here is a official pic but that is not what it looks like anymore
(sales price 2999 euro)
changes: (for the guys who know something about it )
- front suspension - changed into a Rock-shox SID Race Titanium
if you don't see a difirence between this one and the one in the bike pic:
difirences 500 gram lighter, fully airsuspension with oil absorbing, titanium parts etc (1200 euro)
- hubs changed into anodized Red CHRIS KINGS (800 euro)
- Ballbearing(steering) also red CHRIS KING (150 euro)
- Shimano XTR STI set (brakelevers and shifters) 200 euro)
- Shimano XTR V-brake system (150 euro)
- Thompson Sattlepost (110 euro)
- Thompson headset (110 euro)
- Flite Titanium sattle (leather with titanium rail)
and that is about it I changed...
don't expect most of you know anything what I just said... but as you can see.... Mountainbiking is a big thing for me... for me my bike is a form of art! just like modding a car....
did some more bikes (previous bike I owned and some work for friends... it really is the same Idea as modding a car... remove the stock look with better parts....
btw if any of you are interested I can post some pics of other bikes I worked on and... and makes some of the parts.

Show us your insane previous works Stig.
I kinda have an bike obsession, but WTF? 3000 euro's?
Hmmz, I'd kill myself if I accidently made a crash with it.. And damaged the bike a little.
Here is a picture of my bike. It ''only'' costed about 250 euro's. It's the same, but the color is different. Frame is black with blue flames. The fork is blue. I'm kinda of a wild driver, and it seems the bike doesn't like that. Sure, the frame survives it, but the wheels don't. Are there special stronger wheels for sale? And I'm starting on a project when I have money. I'll give the bike a new paintjob, replace the wheels, get discbrakes, a new gear changing device etc.. Sure, my bike is ''kinda'' screwed up, and I like updating my bike more then buying a new one.
BTW Stig, get discbrakes. Those v-brakes are big shiznit for heavy duty.-_- And where you've got those parts from?x_x

yeah I know diskbrakes are more powerfull.... but they are heavy and I only do crosscountry so no downhill.... and don't do official races that much... my bike is more of a POSER bike! I drive around on worldcup races... being a poser
and the XTR brakes I have are the best V-brakes availeble! the have enourmous stopping power! not as good as hydrolic disks but comes close
where I buy my parts... well all over the country
but if you want some advise...
just ask

yeah true... but so do Diskbrakes... can be even worse!
the best lifetime was the old style brakes... but he they didn't stop that good..
but there are good brakepads that brake better and last longer... but it also has a disadvantage... your rims last shorter.. (only noticeble when you drive alot... else it would takes some years

Hello! I better post here as well i think as i got two bikes, which i use frequently, both for training and transportation purposes! i have a Scott Kokomo with thinner racing wheels for tarmac. My second bike is a Nakamura NXC, fully dampered and with both terrain wheels and winter tires with studs, for those icy roads.....which is a lot of fun! I found a pic of an Kokomo but not of an NXC, if i do i post it here.....

carbon fibre wheel can break... and pretty easely!
a friend of mine had a set of full CF wheels (3 spoke) and the front wheel was pulverized when he hit a little rock when he landed from a jump... that was 1000 euro up in smoke! (for 1 wheel)
CF wheels look good but you can't use em for races (not allowed) cause they are fragile cause when they damage they burts into splinters... and you are not happy when that happens to your wheel when riding
a normal spoked wheel only bends... less damage to you and repaireble...
CF frames are good.... but they to can crack... but so can Alloy...best material for that is Titanium but that is hugely expensive...
but the Downhill bikes use alloy... CF broke alot... could not cope with the stress. (seen a few broken into 2 pieces...)
@Gioder: nice bike (pic) and nice work on the other...
