Can we import mp3 music into NFSU2

A feature lacked in NFSU1, is it available in version 2?

I also see some screenshot that one can customize the background of the meter.. is it the case?

1 probably not officially but if it has the same music format as NFS U1 you probably can change the songs

I want this feature really badly, I tried using a Winamp playlist playing in the background buts it just not the same...however, I tried the NFS Underground 1 importer and it doesn't work but whoever made it could just modify it slightly and I am sure it could work just as easily, who was the author of it?

By the way the NFS U1 music importer can be found easily by searching. In fact you can get it here on this site:

Been messing around with the folders but I am having a hard time even locating where the music files go, I remember Underground 1 had them packed in the compressed AST file, however, Underground 2 doesn't seem to have it, I see VIV files though but opening those up with NFS VIV Wizard, from way back in the High Stakes era doesn't work, will keep trying.

we are searching 4 nfsu2,not 4 nfsu1.

I know that, I was just mentioning the download location for someone asking if the one from NFS U1 works with NFS U2. Other than that no luck messing around with the files, still don't know where the music files are located.

I posted this message awhile back on NFSCheats.com and the author of the NFSU1 importer is working on the NFSU2 version, so yes one will come eventually.

I turned of all the music now, just run winamp in the background. But this slows the game down a bit, so I can't wait for a music importer to come for NFSU2

Plus most of the tune son it are Hip Hop/RnB, i know most my personal "Hardcore Dance" will be in the game when the conver gets released
