Does setting the steering ratio higher or lower make the steering faster?

Don't quite understand what the tip means in relation to the slider.

I think a higher steering ratio makes the car react more 'direct'. But I feel the full effect only when disabling the stability control.

I think that if you put the steering ratio higher your car will do the bends easier but it will start to powerslide a lot more

lower reacts quicker but tend to make the car twichy....
