Removing Slash Screen in NFSU2

Does anyone know how to remove or replace the splash screen in NFSU2? My mom gets really irate whenever I play the game because of it.

turn your speakers off when the splash screens are one..
alternately, i believe you can simply remove the files for them. they are located in the MOVIES subdirectory within your NFSU2 directory. keep a backup copy of the files just in case, as i am not sure if this works 100%
eagames logo: ealogo.vp6
thx logo: THX_logo.vp6
brooke burke: PSA.vp6
opening fmv: FMVOpening.vp6

in nfsu1 it didnt work, because then it would play them from cd

i tried removing the files. it didn't work. still waiting for a v1.1 nocd patch... maybe it'll work then.. and i won't have to take my cd out of the case every time i want to play

whawt is this language switch patch they have? probably for the euro version. wish i could change hte language of my US release

vp6 is the nfsu2 movie file. check out the MOVIES subdirectory in your nfsu2 directory.
