why did they take out the Acura Integra, Honda s2000 and the dodge neon..did they take them out for the 3 new gay SUV's?

Come to think of it, anything's better than SUV.

I really don't think we are the right people to ask that question, EA are the ones who made those decisions. I don't mind having the SUV's in the game. But I think they should either go straight sports cars, or an even wider variety. One or the other, not kinda half arsed. I'd like to see some utes (trucks for the americans) like the Ford F150 lightning etc... But only if they were going to go that way. I do think there are several sports cars missing, as you pointed out.

Funny thing here, i never used any of those cars to race yet i still miss them , Maybe because i think i made some beautiful integras

there is a dc5 integra in the game.

u wonder why they took them out and thats because a stock anything could've wated at level 5 one of those...

I'm with unfknblvble on this, they are a great addition (SUVS that is), but it comes across as a light-hearted attempt of variation in the game, if they had say 50 cars in the game, there would be more diverse range from image based cars (mainly suvs) and imports. But meh, game is made, deal with it I guess.

What would happen if you copied the car files from NFSU1 to NFS U2? That would be an interesting experiment.

try it! SUV's are cool, I just wish we could have like shine and show comps online, that would be quite fun I reckon... Purging NOS everywhere, while bouncing!! YEAH!!!!

Haha, that would be class, mod up a h2 with level 3 hydros and its best to have all level 3 performance, raise it up, let the rear wheels start bouncing and just try doing doughies, it's crack up, you bounce around like a maniac.

Maybe it's still early days, but I rate one of these wiz kids is going to patch game soon, so we can get some U1 cars in 2. But it would only be the S2000 & Integra??? Or are there others... oh yeah the Dodge Neon...

I wonder if the cars are hard coded in the EXE file... if that's the case I don't see how they could be unlocked in 2...

if they replaced the integra, the neon and the s2000 for the suvs, they must be gay. Did they have to take them out because they didnt have enough space? Meh

Although there are some other cool ones they could have added into as well.

On the cars missing there's something more that should be pointed out:

At least, you american users don't have to miss the Acura RSX and Honda Civic, I wonder what did we europeans do to get two of the shiznit hatchbacks out there instead of these cool cars , If EA wanted to make some difference between the european and american car roster (I don't really understand why is this neccesary in the 1st place) there are heaps of cooler rides to get in the game when it comes to european cars: seat leon cupra fr, for instance.

If some of these patcher guys could make an arrangement to get the acura and the civic inside my game, even at the cost of losing the corsa and the peugeot 106, I would be most thankful.

On the other point... I like the SUVs, but having just 3 to choose from comes very, very short.
