In NFSU1 many people including my self used little taps for dragging to achieve a time of mid 19s or lower because of the 'explosive' effect. What methods are there now? Tapping or Hold or a mixture of both?

i have unique nos and i put it alll the way to the right, to increase duration. i can just hold the button the entire race
when i had regular nos, tapping didnt have the same effect to me as it did last game

Is it possible to get NFSU drag times in NFSU2? Some of the tracks are soo crap like that curvy one on the highway.

Tapping is a thing of NFSU1 people. It doesnt make the RPM's 'jump' so much as they it did, hence makes 'tapping' utterly useless. Holding it the only way to go.

I've got unique nos and tend to hold it more than I did in u1 where it was all about the tapping. (pun not intended)

having it all the way to the right will give you slower drag times, you need to get fast as quick as possible.

yea but all the way to the left doesnt give u a big a boost overall. itt just wastes nos

yea all the way left is too fast, somewhere in the middle seems to work good.

well my technique seems to work most of the times on online mode, i just bounce the thing in the green b4 start and bam hit the nos let go b4 shift, shift, nos, shift, nos, shift, etc. always let go of the nos b4 u shiznit it, for me it works like 80% of the time, and 70% of the time im so far infront of the guys that i cant see em no more

I ran a test last night of tapping vs holding.
Holding gave me worse time than tapping.
However, tapping is only doing minimal gain.
But the real key now is the gearbox

yes. 14th n vine was an actual straightaway. i havent found a u2 track that u can go in a straight line w/o traffic.
