Get someone to build you a computer and ditch the dell
you need at least a NVidia 5700/Ati 9600 for direct x 9 compatibility any NVidia PCI-Express card or 6800 AGP for DirectX 9c compatibility (which is what the game uses.)
any soundblaster is ok
at least 512MB of PC 3200 memory preferrably 1024MB
at least 2GHz proc either AMD or Wintel
preferrably a 7200 rpm HDD with at least 8MB buffer size doesn't matter I use two 120GB in a Raid 1 config using SATA drives
A good monitor and most importantly a great power supply the Antec 550 is what I have on this pc I use the PC P&C 550 on the other computer, but you can get by with 400W units. I personally wont use anything smaller than a 400W due to power needs of the systems I have and any future upgrades.
I preferr a Plextor DVD R/RW drive but any decent CD-RW drive will work.
