Any Photographer's here?

Post by 2gTSiAWD »

I am wondering if there is any other members here that love and do photography as much as I do. If so:

What kind of camara do you use?

What do you normally take pictures of?

And show some work you have captured.

Once my image host get's back up I will post some nice pictures I have of my car and some other misc pictures I have taken.

I'm in the middle of photography. I like it and sometimes don't do it...

Anyways:

Camera: Samsung Digimax 210 (2MPX, got on my 10th birthday)
I normally take pics of nature, parks, people, and rarely cars, because NH doesn't have lots of tuners... Even though I like takin pics of flowers alot, doesn't mean I'm a girly-type boy...

Here's some work...

My cat sleeping...

Front yard...

Backyard

water got on my lens...

no comment...

A bit blurry, forgot to turn off effect...

A lovely day at Boston...

tower in boston...

Flowers again...

That was less than half my pics tooken. All of my pics are on http://teleganov.net/photoalbum-evgeny/ ... m=./EVGENY

Stereo those are some good pictures. You have a good eye.

One thing I would try next is to encorporate different objects into your pictures. Make them have some feeling. Or somehow make it tell a story.

Just a little pointer. Keep up the good work.

Here are a few pics from a recent snow (Monday). The "forest" pics came from a creek near my house (across the street). They just started taking many trees down to make way for a "Nature Trail" (irony?). The ice pics came from some bushes in front of my house a few days later.

I use a crappy Concord Eye-Q Duo 2000 2 Megapixel $75 digital camera.

Pics are different sizes due to attachment size restriction.

Digital SLR cameras are the best when they come to take pictures like this. They have a 9.0 mega pixel quality.

I dont care too much about MPx... there are more important things.

It is like the amount of memory in graphic cards... a 256Mb card is NOT twice as good as a 128Mb one. In fact, some 128Mb versions are better :P

2Mpx should be enough... that is 1600x1200 resolution, and you can print it in paper at 20cmx15cm (8inchx6inch).

Ppl say "wow" @ 9Mpx-cameras, but they could be a crap in other aspects...

altho 9 mega pixel quality is huge, and you would be able to incredible amounts of details, but the more mega pixels, the more memory you're gonna need. I have a 5 mega pixel camera which is good enuf for me, put perhaps for normal camera use 3 megapixel is probably the optimum size in terms of size and memory space required.
