Car Editing!!!!!! How to do it????

there are 2 downloads of edited cars online the skyline and the RSX but if someone like me who wants to start off with some other car modified how can he go about doing that....that's what i would like to know i mean everyone wants a car that has all the uniques on it is there someone with a guide on how to do this?????
