fshtool

I had a virus, after several days my computer is clean now. I am running XP. Problem: before the virus fshtool worked just fine, now when I try to open .fsh files I get "the file is not a valid win32 application
I have uninstalled and reinstalled not only the fshtool but the game. I wrote to the author and he couldn't help me. I have searched MSN knowledge base. I have run a system file checker and ran reg-cleaner.
All the other tools still work, I can open .fsh files with graphics editor and see the.bmp. files.I have made sure the extension in pointing to fshtool.exe
Any suggestions?
