Ok,
I download the file from the site, then after it is downloaded go to open it. It opens in Word as a bunch of computer language. What do I do?

Since when do you need to open that type of file with word?

You must have some weird file property type, which incorrectly opens the file in Word. What's the file extension? (.zip, .exe ?)

I downloaded the 911 DX Cabrio, saved it on my computer and then when it had been downloaded, went to view it. The Word logo is in the background of the icon, and when I open it, it opens thru Word.

Wow guys relax. Ok, Im not trying to spam anything, I just have a question. I downloaded 911DXCabrio(996).zip from this website. After it had downloaded, I went to where I saved it. The background of the icon was the Word symbol, and when I double clicked it, it opened in Word as some computer language. Does anyone know what is wrong?

Maybe you recommended the file to be opened with Word.

A ZIP file is supposed to be opened with WinZIP program (or some other compressor, winrar/winace for example). MS Word doesn't know what to do with it.
In case you didn't know (I guess you don't, why would you ask otherwise) a ZIP file is a compressed datafile, which usually has several files inside which can be accessed when uncompressed with the correct program. You will most likely also find a help file inside the ZIP archive, which will then tell the exact procedure to install the car.
http://www.winzip.com
As far as why the file opened in Word: You don't have winzip (or any other program) installed that would've registered .ZIP files belonging to itself. In this case double clicking on the file usually would prompt for the user to choose a program to open the file with, this has then been selected incorrrectly as Word (or some other weird malfunction has changed the zip file property to point to Word). Installing Winzip will fix this.

Hey guys, thanks for the help. I managed to get winzip and i found the setup.exe file, and unzipped them, but winzip said it couldnt copy most of the files, so the thing failed. The game isnt in the C drive, and I noticed when it was unzipping it said something about a game in C, do I need to move the game back to C drive or something?

I moved the file from in the C drive to a folder on my desktop so it was easier to open.
