I also have a clean desktop. All I leave on the desktop are the main program files. All other stuff goes in my generic folder or in a shortcuts link.

well so did i but i would be showing off all of the cool programs that I "bought"

before my dad left, the screen was almost half-way full of folders and icons and shortcuts, becuase he has his own external HDD and he made shortcuts to each program he needed instead of taking 30seconds to find it in My Computer....

Man i want a cool theme that i dont necessairly have to register and crap like that...... any one have any solutions?

Anyways, Windows Blinds is the best. I used to use it but not anymore(tended to crash my comp or eat up my CPU during games.

For or from, but i'll explain.

From top to bodom (right icons):
Stuff Thomas (D) = my D partition (second HDD)(icon driver 3)
Thomas = a map on my desktop with some personal info (icon driver 3)
Anime Series = shortcut to all the anime i have on my hdd (own made icon kurosaki Ichigo)
School = School projects and other school related stuff (icon driver 3)
Eigen Photoshop Tutorials = My own made photoshop tutorials (icon driver 3)
Movies = shortcut to all the movies i have on my hdd (icon driver 3)
mp3producer = a cd to mp3 ripper (legal) (icon stock)
Video Lan Player = The mediaplayer i use to play my anime/movies (icon stock)
Adobe Photoshop and Abode Imageready = speak for themselfs (icon stock)

well here's my current desktop, it's been reduced to 800 by 600 - my resolution is usually a glorious 1280 by 1024
