Hi everyone,

I raced against a car today in one of my career games which had an unusual paint colour. I've included a pic of the car which shows it. Where can I get this paint in the game? I have finished the game and unlocked all of the paint styles as far as I know (and I asked here once before and was told this is all) - I have three full rows of gloss paint, three full rows of metallic paint and one and a half rows of pearlescent paint.

Any help appreciated!

Yeah it definately looks like a pearlescent paint, but which one - I've been through the row and a half I have and it's just not there....

Looks to me like a simple silver pearl that's picking up reflections from the green skyline.

yup, thats what it looks like to me, plus there is another green car on the other side of it.

It can also be the street-lightning or the neon on some buildings

i assume what color that is. i'll post a picture when i'm on the right computer

I really don't think it is a plain silver paint with reflections from cars / buildings etc - firstly the cars aren't the right shade of green to reflect that colour, and secondly, the car in the picture, maintains the same colours throughout the race, and is too 'green'.

I did have another race with a similarly coloured car, and took a couple of screenshots:

I've also encoutered this paint job and still haven't found what it is
i'll find it 'cause I'm paint & vinyl master (if you doubt it check my garrage)

It can also be Pearlescent paint AND a body-vinyl combined (in another color). Then the colors always look crazy

MasterM I thought of that, but there are very few ways of covering the *whole* car with vinyls, and it would have been visible in the above two screenshots if that was what had been done.

Personally I think it seems like EA originally started making a full three rows of pearl paint, just like gloss and metallic, but then for whatever reason didn't finish and decided one and a half rows was a nice round number and this is one of the other paints that was created but not made available, which is unfortunate because it looks cool

it could of been custom painted. if you aply #14, #3 and #1 body vinyl (i think i'm correct) the only way you can see is by the start of the hood on the sides. well the hood is CF so it can't be visible. and i saw a car with paint just like that today playing the free run. but i can't figure it out either. and i didn't assume correct

But For SOme Reason The COmputer Doesnt Need To Use Body Vynils

most of the cars have pearlescent paint that is not available to us.. there are some more paints I have seen.. maybe I'll post some pics sometime..
