Is there a splitscreen/multiplayer patch

Hey people,
I'm about to start playing Need For Speed Underground 2 on my PC and would like to know if someone has created a splitscreen multiplayer patch.

It's a good game and I'd rather play in the same room with my friends than tell them to "go to the next room".

You only started playing now, April 2005. Most people have NFSU-2 since 11-2005.

Anyway, on my xbox game there is a multiplayer Splitscreen.

Yep. In fact, I haven't started playing yet. I'll probably start in 2 days.
So far I've been enjoying the start track with Snoop Dogg and The Doors.

Game wise, I'm very much into soccer games and the likes of Zelda. I'm trying something new with this game.
