Heres the thing>
I have some music DVD's, and I was wondering if i could import the sound from them, and store them into the computer, so that they can be played, using 'i-tunes'.
If you know what i'm talking about, and sort-of know an answer, then post away

dvd decrypter is freeware so it isn't illegal and dvd audio ripper is a trial for full version you need a serialcode that you can buy with your creditcard and it wil be mailed to you.
EDIT: Best dvd decrypter around is DVD X COPY a 100% legal program you can buy it just like photoshop. ( but there are no trial or free ware versions) I got the full platinum version at home

If the DVD is original so not a copy and he ripp it to his comp it's not illegal IMO
But if you lend it to somebody now it's illegal He and his friend can be arrested IMO

Not where i live, you can copy dvd's for personal use, if you friend borow's it, it's not a problem when he copy's it then he breakes the law. But he would be the only one having trouble not you.

Selling the copy would be illegal, and producing mass-copies would be too (without consent).
Why not just buy the CD set of the DVD?
Downloading all these programs and decrypting a DVD is ILLEGAL. If you have Nero software, it could be done with a few clicks. Nero is NOT free and the full version is expensive.
And for the record, it doesnt matter where you live. The author/producer has the right to prohibit any copying/selling of their product. Here in the states we have these stupid groups such as RIAA who try to sue people for downloading mp3's. Pathetic.
Just buy the CD and get it over with.

Are you sure about that? I mean, its only extracting the sound. And if i did have it, i would no way start sending it to people over the net.
