Not many differences with the current Impreza
.
Only the lights and front grill-bumper.
And what's with the ugly roof-spoiler

Believed to be the lovechild of Subaru's new Grecian chief of design, ex Alfa Romeo design guru Andreas Zapatinas, the front end incorporates a much more aggressive look that more closely resembles the Subaru Liberty/Legacy, particularly when you look at the headlight cluster.
Thats why they look like Alfa Romeo lights

Im a fan of the subaru impreza, have been for a long time... and ...the 2006 version isnt what I expected...
Example:the front is too mutch of a radical change from the 2005 version(in my opinion), it lost the agresivenes that the 2005 version gained, its more roundy like, its just not as agresively... race... like... its too hard to expline!!!![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

The roof spoiler probably has something to do with aerodynamics, in the vein of the deallys on the Evo.master m wrote:And what's with the ugly roof-spoiler![]()
I'm still thinking about the styling of the '06 Impreza, though. It's part of their new corporate image (something to to with aircraft heritage, I believe), and the Tribeca (which shares the same design theme) has been growing on me, so I'll wait a little until I have my final judgement of the Impreza. The rear looks decent, and the front end isn't too bad (it's fairly clean at least). I think it's marginally better than the bug-eyed Impreza.

Doesn't look like any Fuji plane I've ever seen.Hecubus wrote:The roof spoiler probably has something to do with aerodynamics, in the vein of the deallys on the Evo.master m wrote:And what's with the ugly roof-spoiler![]()

Methinks Subaru's new designer is just a little too dedicated to his Alfas.
