supercars on the road
I know it's not a supercar, but today I've seen an Escort Cosworth.
In Belgium they're rarer than a Ferrari, so it's a bit special if you see a "Cossie" here.
It made an awesome p-tssssshhhh -sound and it looked great too.
Like this one but then dark green
And last week I saw an old Ferrari near the Circuit of Zolder.

It was like the second time ever, that i've seen a Ferrari irl.
I'm bad at naming Ferrari models, but i'm pretty sure it was a Ferrari 360 Spider.
Didn't have time to inspect the car better because it was going the other way.
I wonder why i've missed them .baadmw wrote:i've seen alot of Ferraris in Helsinki... 360 spider, 360 modenaX2, 430 cab, 430 coupe, testarossa and some big ferrari i dont recognisePabl0z wrote:Whee! I actually saw a Ferrari yesterday.

I've seen some other rare cars, but i think i've only seen a Ferrari once before.

the old GT500's had a 428 big-block engine with 355 HP and 420 ft. lbs. of torque. the lesser GT350's only had 250 HP. i would rather have the GT500's engine rather than the new ones becuase the new engine is much smaller and the old one sounds better imo
the 427 cu. in. was not an option on a GT500 it was only a option on the Mustang GT. the 427 was much more powerful than the 428
EDIT: check this out i was browsing car and driver and it seems the europeans are going to get lucky.
Audi introduces a mega-torque V-12 diesel for European Q7s.
BY DAVE VANDERWERP, September 2006
Audi’s Q7 will soon have the option of V-12 diesel, the first in a passenger car. Not to be outdone by its little brother, the VW Touareg, which has a 310-hp, V-10 diesel, the Q7’s 5.9-liter V-12 makes a massive 500 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque.
According to Audi, this diesel beast sprints to 60 mph in less than 5.5 seconds, which is more than two seconds quicker than the 350-hp V-8 in the gas-powered Q7 4.2. Audi says the diesel’s fuel economy approaches 20 mpg, a hair better than the Q7 4.2.
The twin-turbo V-12 has the latest 29,000-psi Bosch Common Rail fuel delivery system and meets 2010 Euro 5 European emissions regulations.
Q7s in Europe already have a 233-hp, 3.0-liter V-6 diesel option, and that powerplant is rumored to make an appearance in the U.S. in 2007. However, Audi says there are no plans to bring the V-12 diesel here any time soon.
a 500 HP TT V-12 Diesel ? WTF, somebody should bring that over here so we can have a test between a european diesel and a american diesel
