And? The LP640 is actually the mid-spec model. It goes Murcielago, LP640, then all the limited ed ones. They're actually very popular ricer cars you know.Striker94 wrote:But it was in a Lamborghini dealershipKoenigsegg_Rox wrote:I would believe that is a riced Murcielago

I always liked the Gallardo over it anyway...

You can see those figures in action here. Doesn't sound half bad either.Striker94 wrote:Yeah, I saw that, not really a fan of Hyundai myself, but its got respectable figures, on paper at least...
Yeah, I'm still unsure of the Genesis Coupe. I saw one at an auto show and it looked pretty nice and sporty in person. But I always liked Millen's little Solstice for some reason...

Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
I don't care about what sort of roof it has lol. I just want a bloody ROADSTER! RAWR!
Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
I'd have a Gallardo LP540-4 over a F430, a F430 Scuderia over a Gallardo Superleggera, but a Murcielago LP640 over a 599.
I reckon Ferraris are getting uglier every year. The F430 looked awesome, but the 599 and especially the 612 have both looked rather strange...
Lamborghinis on the other hand seem to get cooler and better looking with every model.
Anybody agree?

As long as you can put the top up/down with one hand from inside the car, s'all good.Andre_online wrote:Manual roof? No thanks.. Even the cheaper model has that.Koenigsegg_Rox wrote:I <3 mai Murcielago LP640 Roadster...

Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
I completely agree with you.. Lamborghini is just more to the line if aesthetics, whereas Ferrari is focused on mostly having good aerodynamics - hence their awkward designs. But I'd have to acknowledge that the F430 is the most decent looking Ferrari today, followed by the 360 Modena.
Nonetheless, I'd still buy a Gallardo over the F430, simply because I feel the Gallardo is more exclusive.

You have to go out of the car to install the roof back on. Not so exclusive anymore..xHaZxMaTx wrote:As long as you can put the top up/down with one hand from inside the car, s'all good.Andre_online wrote:Manual roof? No thanks.. Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
You drive a roadster for it's top down look not how it looks with the roof up.
Sure the Gallardo has a roof that folds down, and the Murciélago a roof that you have to get yourself and with some tent building skills put on the car, but who cares, that's what Lamborghinis are, they look stunning the way they should but they are absolutely not practical, never where.
Looking at the Gallardo in that way and you can almost think it's not a real Lambo.

Which has sort of got me thinking about the Estoque actually. It's almost too practical to be a Lambo despite the estimated price tag.

Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
It's main purpose was to be practical, isn't it? Skepticism will always be on everyone, but I think Lamborghini might just pull it off and garner greater sales figure than Aston Martin's Rapide.

Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
Hmm, someone in Singapore tried to replicate that. But wow! 670bhp.. Now that's something.

Infiniti Essence. 592hp (combined, 434hp V6, 138hp hybrid motor), paddle-shift, and sadly it's only a concept at this stage.

The only real picture of it is the front that looks extremely similar to the normal one, and power output matches that of the Apollo Race.

Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
Has it got the same engine as the base model? Or a bigger engine?
Re: The New/Prototype/Concept Car Topic
Bump this shiz.
Ferrari 458
Discuss.
When I first saw this, I immediately thought Lotus Evora. Does anyone else see a similarity? Some of the lines are very similar and the general direction this car is trying to head seems to be the same as the Evora... If that makes sense.

I looked more to me like a smaller, sexier Enzo. And boy is it effing sexy...
