Does anyone here play Unreal Tournament 2004? I got the demo version for Linspire and would like to play you guys. You can usually tell me by the name of u_dead or ikillu. And I'm usually in the iiNet Demo Version server on Onslaught. But Assault, Bombing Run, and Deathmatch are getting more interesting.

I'm missing the option... not interested....

I have the full game..play it online once in a while when I feel like killing lots of people

Never heard of it?! There was a giant state wide championship for the game last year with a grand prize of $500 to the person who killed the most people. This game is huge and is on the shelf of almost every store. But I'm intending to get the full version of the game.

I never played UT except for on X-box... and then i dont really like it that much....

I don't see why you don't like it. You get to blast other players into chunks with the flak cannon.

Yea. Super Racer was the first, now there are I think 3 other people copying . Its very annoying. Now I dont know who is who.

I have the original Unreal does that count?
and the original UT

but never play it anymore online was way to hard... I did not get a chance to kill... was almost always dead before I could see what happend..

and I prefer BF2 also don't have the full version YET

I think they can both intermingle, but mainly I was talking about if anyone played Unreal Tournament 2004.

I also play UT2004 online i have the full version, but i am gona play fear this week, that game is much better (i have the beta version full version release is Q3)

I downloaded the demo for windows and it's way better than the Linspire demo.

It's quite a good game with a incredibly active modding scene. I think you won't find any game with so many servers running user made maps and mods.

Got the original and I occasionally play instagib dm. Don't have it installed atm though.

I only ever play instagib, its the only thing that i like about it...... but i prefer Quake 3 Arena, I know it ancient, but i still like, and its definatly a lot better than UT, imo. The whole style of the game is darker, fast paced, and the maps are far more creative than UT. For instance, in one map there is a small room with a power-up called Quad Damage (kinda like Double Damage), but when you attemp to get the power-up, several grenades are fired from the walls of the room, just to put you "off balance".

Another map includes a large platform in open space where there is the BFG (The most powerful gun) However there is also a big target next to this platform, and shot by another player, a big slab of concrete comes crushing down wiping out anything that is on the platform.

These are just a few examples of why Quake 3 Arena still kicks ass. And I can give tonnes more reason why it is better than UT, but i can't be bothered.

I love instagib. One shot and they explode into a million peices.

one of the things I thought where pretty funny in UT (original) was shooting at someone with the machinegun and keeping them standing when they are dead.. and if you are lucky the spawned person could see his dead body still being shot..

but then you have to make sure he is dead again..
