Yeah... I feel sorry for McLaren F1, but it was up on the top for a pretty long time, and besides, McLaren is getting old

I don't think that people would buy that hell of expencive car just to drag, and if you can't drive fast on streets, then why buy all that power.(Probably just to show off)

Unlike ferrari or porsche. You can take them to the track , car show, and drag strip, and just cruise.

Considering that it's the most expensive car in the world, I'm sure it corners pretty well

In acceleration weight is as important as is HP!

I don't know what the exact power to weight ratio is but it isn't as high as with some other cars.

1000 HP can cure anything

this car sure will rock the supercar world, but imo, the McLaren is the most memorable one...i quote from a magazine, " Perhaps the road-car legend of them all"

btw : the McLaren is 3rd fastest, the 2nd now being the Koenigsegg CCR

I'm sure your right, the car has been in testing for a while and it's always been faster than the mclaren. But quite frankly I got excited cos it goes over 250mph, thats the big acheivement. Athough if you asked any punter on the street what the fastest car in the world is, they'd still say Mclaren. But what can I say, I don't really follow supercar testings so it was news to me

I did some calculation for you Stiggy.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4:
1900 kg & 990 hp = 1.919 kg/hp.

Mclaren F1:
1140kg & 627hp = 18181 kg/hp

Exige:
870kg & 190hp = 4,58kg/hp

So the McLaren is better
