EA finally announced the official 36 cars that will be in it's final product, here is the list:

* Ford GT
* Ford Mustang GT
* Corvette C6
* Corvette C6.R
* Cadillac CTS
* Pontiac GTO
* Vauxhall Monaro VXR
* Cobalt SS
* Lamborghini MurciÃ©lago
* Lamborghini Gallardo
* Lotus Elise
* Mazda RX-8
* Mazda RX-7
* Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
* Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION VIII
* Mitsubishi Eclipse
* Porsche Carrera GT

* Porsche 911 Carrera S

These cars will be in the normal version of the game, the Black edition will get one or two bonus cars, we will provide more news about the Black edition as soon as they appear.

I really wonder why this is would be the final list..

cause why would someone from EA say there is a M5?

and where has the Vauxhall Monaro VRX gone? sudden;y vanished?

well, he didnt say this exactly, he only said put this in your consideration or something, but he didnt confirm it, in addition to IGN posted this carlist and wrote that they were the first to recieve the list from EA.

DAMNIT!!!!!! I am absolutely a little disappointed that they didn't include at least one Nissan. What the is wrong with EA, I'm still getting the game but they are stupid for not including Nissan. Put the Skyline in, forget other Nissan's.

Well the first info they gave us on MW was incorrect (within a few days proven incorrect)
and there is more that wasn't correct in the past.

but he you don't hear me complaining... the list is pretty good...
it really misses the M5.... it only has 1 BMW... and it is a race car...

I don't like the fact that they don't have a few good tuner cars in there, but I guess "most wanted" wouldn't be fun in an NsX Or a 350Z or a Skyline...

One Nissan should have been included, its up to my pal Mazda to conquer now. Then again High Stakes USA didn't have a Skyline. Ahhh ok maybe the Japan version has a Skyline.

Well really I didn't think the list would have this less amount of cars, I thought at least HP2 capacity.

I hope what ever need for speed will come after this will make up for the 3 series which have under 40 cars.

Although I am happy with the cars that are in the list that is for sure... but I am Disaponted with the fact that it really is missing some good cars... and got some cars double... like the Merc SL500 and the SL65 AMG... they are basicly the same.. exept for the engine...
and 2 times the C6 ok 1 is the R but still

I hope so, because a race-game without any Nissans/ Ferrari's isn't a really good racing-game

TBH i couldnt care less for the nissans, ok i was secretly hoping that the 200sx s15 would be there... what i am really dissapointed at is that they didn't include more BMW's (at least an E39 M5) and, as stig already said, that they included 2 MB SL's... wth isthat all about... they could have dumped the sl 500, made the 65amg to 55amg and then included an M6, to rival it and the DB9... well mabey i should just be happy of what we get... i really dont know... i hate rumors, the least EA could have done would have been to confirm the amount of the cars ingame. i was so happy when i read the 100cars rumor. even though i knew it couldn't be right, i expected atleast 50 cars... now this list was big dissapointment
