P.S. I see Mercedes Benz all the time Because my dad works at a place were the fix Mercedes Benz mostly vintage Mercedes Benz though but that SL65 did look nice but i see them alot so there not that special to me.
Seen as I've owned a BMW M3 CSL, a carbon-clad S2 track car and currently own a Triumph 600 race rep covered in the black stuff, I think I've got a better idea than some ricer ;).
alright stop it it's real carbon fiber. I just remembered another car I saw It was driving down my road it was a 1960 shelby cobra I don't even know how I forgot about it. #-o

Saw a Hummer H1 a few days back. Damn, that thing is big. Must be fun to drive in the city. (H2's are "common", see one nearly every day.)

It won't be proper dry carbon. Most likely outer laquer or tape. Dry carbon is silly money- the replacement dry carbon roof skin for a CSL was FOUR THOUSAND POUNDS and it's only a single dry skin over polycarbonate inner.

Odd how you saw a '60 Shelby Cobra, when the first cars rolled off the production line in November 1961-Jan 1962.

The year was an Guess I knew it was around the 1960 I didn't know the exact year because I didn't do research on it.
Porsche-AG you know Volkswagen owns Porsche now.(Why do you think a Nissan GT-R can beat a Porsche 911)
P.S. It wasn't him who bought all that stuff for the car he bought it from a someone and it came with all that stuff.
Can you use dollars not pounds I don't even know how much one pound is worth.

That's fair enough, but it's very common knowledge ;)

A GT-R in standard trim is faster around a track than any of the 911's bar the 911 GT2 RS, and bar RuF specials and the like. Shame they fail to replicate their performance in GT2 class, but never mind, that's as much due to the fact that they've only been running in GT classes for a year or two compared to about 10 years for the likes of Porsche.

At the time, it was about $2.10 to the £. The CSL never came to the US so you can't get parts for them stateside anyway, but some companies do dry carbon ones for about $5k.

His car looks like sh*t, by the way. About as far from cool as you can get.

Hey, you shouldn't be raggin' on this guy - I mean, he knows a guy who drives a very expensive, tricked out car and sees Mercedes Benz every day. He obviouslyknows more about cars than any of us simply by proxy. [-X

Says the 14 yr old without a car...

That SL65 Black is a very special car. One I would love to own or at least get behind the wheel of. Though it's only use (except costing a small fortune) is as a very expensive drift car. The TCS system can't cope with the electronically limited torque or the 600+Bhp. However it's achingly beautiful (not something I would normally say about a Merc) and despite it's lardy curb weight, can hit the high side of 220mph. Hell had the developed a proper gearbox for it rather than stick the outdated 5spd semi-auto thingy in it, it would have rendered all other performance Mercs obsolete. But no. They borked it with gearbox choice, however that's something us modders can fix ;)

I did used to live near the TVR dealership near Gatwick Airport in the UK and seeing/hearing those blast past was always a pleasure, not to mention the Lotus's from the nearby Lotus dealer. Quite an affluent area so things like rare Ferrari's and stuff were a treat to see, instead of the BMW's and Audi's that are considered in the same respect where I live now. Not to mention their fetish for the shiznit that Ford and Holden spew out on a yearly basis.

Is that the one thats at the Perrywood Business Park in Redhill? I think they're a classic racing specialist now, I've seen a matching blue/red pair of Lola T70 Spyders (well Gardner Douglar replicas) lurking around there.

Saw a BMW Z4. I didn't know that the car was THAT low.

That is actually cool because otherwise it would be just vast quantities of random Fiat's, Volkswagens etc.

Few days ago i saw a lot of MX-5's, like 6 or 7 of them in orange, blue, silver, black...one of them had painted top too.

Then i saw lots of RX-8's...Oh and a Mitsubishi 3000GT for a change.

Got to say it looks amazing, i can't wait to drive it in Hot Pursuit.

Any chance you could maybe resize these so that it doesn't take two minutes to load each image? :|

I met patrick long at the showing of the Porsche hybrid racer. Awesome guy and i even beat his GT5P time on the G27 cockpit they had set up. It was only by :12, but still  He's a avid rfactor player i learned as he inferred that i played a bit of sim racing games by my show of skill.

That Porsche GT3R Hybrid is an incredible piece of technology.
