HELP please -> strange shadow

On my pc i have a stange shadow..i don't know why..could you please help me?
I have an AMD 64 3000+ ; 1024 ddr3 ram and ATI (i don;t remember it's serial)PCi Express with 256ddr3 ram

This is a problem that has affected a lot of ATI 9600/9800 users (including me
), and as far as I know, there is no solution for it, aside from setting shadow quality to zero (removing them completely).
'Hopefully this will be addressed in the full game, or in a future patch.

i think u have to mess around wit it in the driver sittings ....cause my 9200 dosnt have a prob but then again i dont have it high lol

It could also simply be a bug in the game that EA has not yet ironed out in the demo... We'll have to see if anything changes when the full version comes out.

I got the same problem, and also turned down the shadows to zip!
I hope EA fixes it, but then again BAttlefield2 had the same problem, and as far as I know it is not fixed.

@Stig, I have those same ugly pixel shadows in BF2, it looks terrible. Maybe turning Texture filter up might help.

I kinda have that problem too and I'm running an X800XL. I'm going to try and install new drivers this weekend and hopefully that'll help.

no good..i just installed the latest drivers for my video card and i still have that problem..i hope it will be solved in the full game

quit ur bitching ppl its a shadow from the spoiler and if this is in the demo thats normal because demos are demonstrations ok they arnt the final product its not perfect ok.
just wait for the full version and it might be fixed.

yeah you're right..i turned off the shadow but think about a world with allmost no shadow ... that's how my game is

Same problem here using a Radeon X850XT. Game looks great otherwise, but those shadows are really terrible. And to you guys saying "it's fixed by turning off shadows", no that's not a fix. A fix would involve making the shadows look like they're supposed to.
