it took me some time to make up a Halo MMORPG but i still havent sent the whole thing yet. right now i working on a project called Tuned.

This is a racing game i belive that will blow people away as the first Real Street racing MMORPG sim. the car list thats sitting in my lap is being updated everyday. so far i have 160 Cars, SUVS pickups and bikes ranging from Crusiers to Superbikes to Rice rockets to tons of Muscle Cars.

I will tell you the soundtrack as well but its being updated as well with music from Rap to Drum'n' Bass.

I sent something like that to EaGames once but they said that they weren't going to use it because they make their own ideas and that they can't use ideas that people send in so unless you start your own company then you can't make the game.

Ever heard of Street Rod 3? It's only in the Alpha stage of production, but if it ever gets finished then it will be undoubtedly the best racing game ever. Maybe you should put your suggestions forward to them, and assist in the game's development :wink:

im gettimg all the final details of info that are going to be in the game. I'll be sending the Idea to THQ and Juice Games to see if they take it and use the Juiced graphics engine for it. with everything that in the game including the liscensing the game has a very slim chance of making it thjrough production. if it dose then look for it on Next Gen consoles such as the Xbox 360, Xbox 3 , PS3, PS4 and PC.


now i dont have the papers with me so you'll have to wait till tommorow hopefully for more details.

Its an okay idea, but i doubt a company will use a full idea by someone outside of te company. 1, it costs them money to make the game, second, there is a reason they hire game directors and a development team to create the idea of the game.

The soundtrack for the game or even the car list is the least of your worries. What you need to do is have a detailed, and i mean DETAILED description of the game.

Do you have an identity statment for the game; a sentence that describes the whole game - "An innovative third-person adventure game that will propell the player into a fully interactive and immersive 3D world".

How about the gameplay overview?

Game features/unique selling points?

Breakdown of core gameplay?

Level breakdown?

Character breakdown? (In this case, your cars)

Narrative Overview? (If this applies)

These are the important things you should have in a concept document. You gotta make your document seem professional and attractive to look out, with concept art, 3D art, level designs, anything that will give an idea of how the game will look like.

Seriously. And people wonder why EAs tracks suck so bad. Because they choose not to pay the companies that own the music. So they find smaller groups that dont cost AS much as the groups for Warner, Columbia, etc.

When trying to put together a design/concept document for a game, the most important aspect is the gameplay. I'm not saying sound and music isn't important, just not as high priorty as the gameplay.... I've played some games that have fantastic sound n music that truely make the game immersive..... And a having a good soundtrack requires money, something that the publishers are reluctant to spend too much of...

im no way near done since there are a wide variety of parts ranging from simple Mirriors to customizing the interior with different ICE such as Monitors AMPS and etc.

the sentence is " Hundreds of Cars, Thousands of Parts, Billions of Customization Outcomes, Infinite Freedom"

For the last week I've been creating a really rough concept document for a survival RPG based on the series LOST, or as i dubbed it - RPSG (Role Playing Survival Game) :lol:

This is not my best concept doc, as I don't think it looks pretty enough, it could do with a few more pictures from the show, screenshot mockups and perhaps concept art too, but like I said, this was very rough.

The document includes:
- Introduction
- Gameplayer Overview
- Unique Selling Point
- Core Gameplay
- Structure/Level structure
- Narrative overview
- Gameplay example
- Market Analysis

I take it most of you, or all of you won't be reading the whole thing, so here's the jist of the game:

Introduction

Based on the hit US drama series, Lost is an exciting new game concept that introduces the player to a wildly interactive and immersive 3D world. Delve deep into an intriguing storyline that puts you, the player on an unknown island, attempting to survive.

Gameplay Overview


Lost is essentially a free roaming and an interactive third person RPG, or as we dubbed it, RPSG (great gimmick, isn’t it). Being an RPSG, the player would be able to select a variety of different characters that can upgrade different stats, such as, stamina, strength, speed, etc, which help you to survive on the island. Although the game starts of the same as the drama series, when a plane suddenly crashes on an unknown island, it does not follow the narrative, but the plots will be similar. This is because the drama series has a continuous open-ended story and this game will require a resolution.

Some gamplay features:
- Improve your character class (Hunter, Medic or Engineer)
- You must make sure your player has enough food and water to drink
- Socialise with other characters, become friend or enemies with them
- Trade items with other NPCs
- Work alone or as a part of team
- Interact with a variety of different objects
- Play a vast mission spine that takes the player through an intriquing story

This document won't be marked by my lecturer until next Monday, so I'll ley you know what he thought of it then. And let me know what you guys think.

I had a ton of twisted and messed up ideas for Grand Theft Auto: Bagdad. I posted them in a GTA forum but I haven't seen it in a while. Maybe I'll find it one day.

I'd want a racing game just like NFSU 2, but without the Drag and Drift races. Just straight-forward racing plain and simple. Whether it's Circuit, Tournament, URL, Sprint, those are great. Street X is alright as well. And I'd let players finally put whatever music in it they want.

All you're doing is just adding random cars to the list... you haven't really done any planning ahead.

I suggest not having a million cars, cause then the player can't decide what car to choose... Winning 2 cars every race means "WTF I just spent 20k to win one race?!"

I take it you havn't taken any of my advice.... the stuff you are doing now are the stuff you do at the end of a design stage/pre - production stage. You need to know how a car is going to work in your game before you start making a list of all the cars.

1. What does the player do in the game?
2. How does the player interact within the game? (i.e. they drive cars)
3. What information is availble to the player? (HUD)
4. What is the control system of the game?
5. What are the rules of the game (i.e. circuit races, sprints, etc)
6. What paremeters exists within the game world? (i.e. race tracks, opponents, race barriers, pedestrians)
7. What paremeters are required for each of the cars? (speed, braking, handling)
8. Now you can tell me what cars are in the game!
