10 wouldn't last me for a day... But almost.
When i buy smokes, i usually buy two packs of 30 smokes.
They last me about 5 days, so i smoke about 12 cigs a day.
I've managed to keep it at that for over 3 years.
I wouldn't rate that too bad, when compared to most of the smokers in the world.
lol wut

Haven't smoked and I never will. I will never drink alchohal either. I am strongly against drugs. Smoking gave my war veteran grandfather lung cancer, and he's in heaven now.

Smoking is a habit that is hard to quit. My cousin has been smoking for quite a while now and he told me never start smoking cause it's hard to quit when you start. In any case it's a death stick. I don't see why some people find it cool to start using something that they know, and it has been proven, will kill them in time. My advice to you all is to try and stop smoking if you've started and seek help and if you plan on starting or want to try smoking DON'T.

I found some very good facts to discourage smoking.

What’s in a cigarette?
Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 toxic substances, including:

* Acetic acid: Used in vinegar and insecticides
* Acetone: Used in nail polish remover
* Ammonia: Used in household cleaning solution
* Arsenic: Used in weed killer. Human carcinogen
* Benzene: Found in motor vehicle exhaust. Human carcinogen
* Cadmium: Batteries. Human carcinogen
* Formaldehyde: Used in embalming fluid. Human carcinogen
* Naphthalene: Used in moth repellant. Possible human carcinogen
* Nickel: Electroplate. Human carcinogen
* Phenol: Used in disinfectants and plastics
* Styrene: Found in disposable cups. Possible human carcinogen
* Vinyl chloride: Used in garbage bags. Human carcinogen

What are the cosmetic effects of smoking?

* Bad breath
* Deep, premature wrinkles and discoloration, often called “SmokersFace,” even among young people in their twenties
* Stained teeth
* Doubles a person’s risk of losing teeth
* Dehydrated skin
* Yellow-brown discoloration of the fingernails, especially with unfiltered cigarettes and usually of the fingers that hold the cigarette

What are the health effects of smoking?

* Reduced fitness levels (due to increased stress on heart and lungs)
* Increased phlegm and coughing
* Higher chance of getting emphysema and asthma
* Increased risk of infections: common cold, influenza
* Increased risk for cancer of the lungs, lips, oral cavity, pharynx, esophagus, pancreas, larynx, cervix, bladder and kidney
* Cigarette smokers are 2–4 times more likely to develop coronary heart disease than non-smokers
* Cigarette smoking approximately doubles a person’s risk for stroke
* Cigarette smoking has many adverse reproductive and early childhood effects, including an increased risk for infertility, preterm delivery, stillbirth, low birth-weight, and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS)
* Cancer of the mouth, stomach, esophagus and bladder
