A RX7 was alot more powerfull (depending on the version) and the RX8 has a NA engine and the RX7 has a TT.

And the RX8 is not a small or light car. Everyone telling it is a small car, has never been near or inside one.

Correction, the Renesis engine has 238hp

I would like to see another Lamborghini in the game, preferably the Diablo SV or the VT 6.0.

According to the Mazda site (the Dutch site) the Renesis M5 engine has 192 bhp and the Renesis HP M6 engine has 231 bhp.
On the US site:
The Automatic has 212 bhp
The 6 speed manual has 232 Bhp.

But your right in Chili it is only availeble as a 238 bhp car.

Maybe it has to do with the exhaust or something. but ok. it is a 6 bhp diffirence.
Still it is not a very powerfull car.
Well there are normal dieselpowered Stationwagons that have almost that amount of horsepower (and almost double the Torque

)

Update

EA has released an official car list containing 12 cars. This is not all of the cars in the game, so don't be worried. This time around, EA is releasing the car list in chunks instead of all at once. The car list is also missing one of the cars seen in the demo of NFS:C. I'm including it in the list here, but it's not part of the official list. So here is the car list as it stands:

But i really wanna see a Old Jap car like the Nissan Skyline R33 or Honda Civic
i would fly to EA if i was older.... and like ask them or get a signed form saying how much people want these cars or something like that

But hey, Nissans are back! And anyone else notice that the BMW is back with THE EXACT same vinyl and body kit from Most Wanted? Methinks it will be part of the story in some crucial way, probably near the beginning.

Hey there is a 350z....so is there a possibility of a Skyline....also the vinyls still look quite pixely.....also the Audi R8...i've never seen it before but its still quite amazing.

BTW...there was a Chrysler C300 in midnight club 3...so the same reason here.....
...who knows there might actually be Mobs too

I'm getting this game for sure...since 350z is still there

I'm thinking the Chrysler 300C would be good for smashing through Police roadblocks - that thing looks like it weighs tonnes! Hopefully the police won't be too reduced in Carbon...

your defenatly right that ea can screw up royally, but i am impressed with some of the cars, i just hope that the game wont turn out as bad as most wanted.
1 question though, what class does the 300 go under, i dont really fit any luxury, turner or muscle?
i hope it isnt muscle because it is a v-8!! that would mean less demenor of cars in the muscle catigory.

y do u say that prince? I think that this a great list of cars so far

also the vinyls still look quite pixely

i really think that vinyls r alot nicer then last year. Just look at the stripes on the Lotus. FABULOS!!!!!!

yeah, who cares about if a vynil looks pixelled??? the cars must look cool....BTW i agree with u hammerspeed, that lotus looks such a racing car with those stripes..

Finally after 2 Underground games and MW, EA decieded to change the Golf GTI into a R32.

Good Job EA! cause the R32 Golf is a much better car then the GTI, it has AWD and a V6 ok it is only 60 bhp stronger but it is a quarter of the original HP more. so it will do

Looking at what we got, I got thinking.

I haven't seen any 200hp and under cars yet to be used as starters exept for the Mazda 3 and the Alfa Romeo Brera. I think we will see atleast 2 other starters.

We now got a few american muscle/luxury cars

Dodge Charger
Chrysler 300C SRT8

So I have the feeling that the Cadillac CTS will be back in the V edition. wich would make it alot better. and it would fit the Dodge and Chrysler list perfectly
The 300C SRT8 has 420 bhp
The Charger has 425 bhp
THe CTS-V has 400 bhp

So I got the feeling it will be in. it is a trio that just to close to miss

Overall the car list is good, except for the Mazda 3 (there always has to be a crappy car in there... if only it said "Mazdaspeed"). Didn't see the Audi R8 coming.

I agree, most of the new cars were unexpected. Let's see what else EA has up their sleeves. They're in the perfect spot to screw things up right now.

I can't find the link right now, but I know that it's in one of the two NFS:C threads. NFS:Carbon Official Discussion Thread or Cars of Need for Speed Carbon thread. A user pointed out the distinct Cobra insignia on the front grill of the Mustang, so it had to be a Shelby.
