NFS C: Wii Version available on Launch Day
Electronic Arts today announced that Need for Speed Carbon will be released together with Madden NFL 07 on the launch day of Nintendo's console Wii on November 19th.
How the controls at the innovative console will work exactly is still not known yet.

The battle starts on the streets of Palmont city, but is won in the canyons as Need for Speed(TM) Carbon immerses you in the world's most dangerous and adrenaline-filled forms of street racing. Need for Speed(TM) Carbon and the Wii introduce the world to a whole new way to play Need for Speed. Anyways commenting on the video:
- ghost replay is back - if anyone remembers Hot Pursuit 2 and High Stakes, it had the same system where you could race against your ghost
- I see split-screen option...it better be in PC!
- EA has finally answered our prayers...it's gonna be a lot of fun online
- I love the new pursuit knockout where the last player becomes a cop
....I'm finally getting a little bit exciting about Carbon

Just a question though, will the Pursuit Knockout be available through LAN and will we have offline challenges where you are the cop?

LOVE photo mode, although not the fact that it'll only be posted online. I hope they only mean this for the console versions.

Also noticed that the Alfa Romeo Brera is going to be the hatchback model. Ewww...

I love the way Carbon is turning out, but I wish all the online modes could be played offline like the Be the Cop Mode.

about he new cars, u know how in previous titles they used lots of cars to record the sounds like for instanse in MW they used a lambo diablo and a whole bunch of other cars, but we never had them in-game.so i'm guessing that they might have used the 180sx and the jag only for sound recording, although i hope that they might include them.

There is no such thing as a Jaguar XKE...well there is but it is from the late 60s and early 70s. The noob must have meant either XK8 or XKR...

It might be considered an old muscle car, but I highly doubt that from EA.
