They do have many side to side comparisons on youtube...
The main difference is the smoke effects, which are simply stunning and realistic on Dx10.

There are also loads of other developer - walkthroughs, on youtube.

I love how you can pick-up animals..like chickens and other birds, and then through them at your enemies. :D
But apart from graphical and physics upgrade, its just like playing FarCry. :|

Yeah an considering Far Cry for me wasn't a great game, i don't think i am going to buy a new computer unless they come up with real DX10 Graphics and with another game that i will play.

1280x1024, mid details, no filters ---> playable.

It's only a prediction. I would purchase the E6600 and 2Gb DDR2 at 800Mhz 8)

Oh no no...this is one of the very few PC exclusive games, AFAIK !!

Which seems quite fair, as PC gamers miss quite a few good games, which are console exclusive. ;)

if it is exclusive for PC then 99% of us are going to have to seriously upgrade our sytems to run this kind of game

Dunno how accurate this stuf is but here is some info from Crysis Online
Crysis will no doubt be a fairly demanding game. It will require a good system to perform well. However, CryEngine2 is very scalable so lower end machines will still stand a chance.

Here is a list of confirmed information...

Crysis will run on both DX9 & DX10 as well as Windows XP and Windows Vista.
A graphics card that supports Shader Model 2 or higher is required.
CryEngine2 is estimated to scale back 2 years, and scale ahead 1.5 years.
A single 7800GTX will run the game quite well on fairly high settings according to Crysis Art Director, Michael Khaimzon.
Jack Mamais of Crytek said in an exclusive Crysis-Online interview that his X1900XT runs the game very well at reasonably high settings ( still unoptmized ).

Crysis will dynamically utilize all processing threads available. Meaning quad-core processors will be supported.
The following specs are estimates made by myself based on the above mentioned information and other sources. These estimates are NOT official - but are based on official information.

Minimum Requirements
CPU: Athlon 64 3000+/Intel 2.8ghz
Graphics: Nvidia 6600 or ATI X1600 - Shader Model 2.0
RAM: 1GB
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 256k+
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX9 with Windows XP / Vista

Recommended Requirements
CPU: Dual-Core CPU (Athlon X2 / Pentium D / Core 2 Duo)
Graphics: Nvidia 7800GT or ATI X1800XL Pro (SM 3.0)
RAM: 1.5GB+
HDD: 6GB
Internet: 512k+ (128k+ upstream)
Optical Drive: DVD
Software: DX9 with Windows XP / Vista
Hope these are similar to the official system requirements, cause then i can run it. And i've already pre-ordered the collectors addition.

Ok I have a new PC now lol. This are my specs:
Dual Core Athlon X2 +3600 2.00 GHz
Corsair 2gb (1+1) DDR2 1334Mhz (667mhz EACH STICK.)
Sapphire Radeon X1650 PRO 512Mb DVI DDR2/DDR3 (still sadly with 128 bits) PCI Express

Is that enough? lol
I had to sell one eye, a lumb ](*,) ...lol and I bought this one to play excusively Crysis and NFS Pro Street.

Ehm... the memory frequencies are not accumulative. They overall run at 667Mhz ;) (333Mhz, but its DDR=Double Data Rate so it makes 333'333 * 2 = 666'666 = 667mhz). But they are good, Corsair is one of the best brands.

CPU is nice. Graphic card is not bad... but its not good either lol. You should have got a 8800GTS or something like that ;)

The game will obviously run, but not at max details I guess.

I forgot also to mention and edit of course that my card has 512mb and NOT 256mb .lol #-o

NEED HELP!!! PLEASE this game is going to blow my head...need a COOL PC CONFIG (means cpu, mobo, ram, etc..) for at least 550$ us dollars!!!!
