Look I'm not saying you're wrong or anything, this is just my opinion, but if you had that much money.....wtf would you get a fiesta? I mean if I had "$100000000000000" I'd get at least a brand new Audi A6 for "chauffering" (sp.?), FPV F6 Typhoon for the daily drive, and a 997 GT2 or LP560/4 for the track.RSZETEC wrote:im saying if i had $100000000000000 id buy a few real cars, im not saying the vayrons a crap car im saying as an engineering feat its impressive but come on a stupid amount of radioators to cool 2 v8s essentially,if you have x amount of millions you could make a lada do 260mph
but if i truly had $100000000000000 id buy about 3 mk2 escort(1 original and 2 animals) a fiesta si like my old one the VX for popping down the shops and probably my coupe with a Z20let fitted........remember real cars are built not bought

Re: Ugly Cars
Point taken but still, a Fiesta? Why not a RenaultSport Megane or ten?

Re: Ugly Cars
But then you could buy a sh*tload of Meganes and replace then every time one breaks downboganbusman wrote:'Cos Renaults are French lol

You must be a real Ford (europe) and Opel/Vauxhall fan to get cars like the fiesta, escort and Astra...

Re: Ugly Cars
To be honest, if the Falcon and Commonwh**e are the best things Australia has done in the automotive industry, we must be doing something wrong. And to my knowledge the RenaultSport 197 Megane is one of the great "hot hatches". A Fiesta is not. Unless you get the XR4 version of course.

Personal opinion, mate. He doesn't need to explain himself, nor does he need any criticism from you.

Re: Ugly Cars
The Falcon and Commodore are NOT the best things Australia have done for the automotive industry. The best thing they've done is the Monaro and all of Holden's development of the new Camaro. Also, yeah, I wouldn't give the Fiesta any performance-related descriptions, least of all positive ones (but hey, I'm an American, prove me wrong).Koenigsegg_Rox wrote:To be honest, if the Falcon and Commonwh**e are the best things Australia has done in the automotive industry, we must be doing something wrong. Also (back on the main tangent instead of the sub-tangent), if I had enough money for a Veyron I wouldn't buy the Veyron because it'd be too much money for nothing but a souped-up Audi (okay, it's not an Audi but VW owns Bugatti). Honestly, it looks fine to me but I think the interior is too luxurious, and thus a money-sink (plus, I'm averse to luxury interiors since where I live, leather interiors are suicide). If I had that kind of money I'd try to find something cheap but powerful and just buy as many sets of tires as I'd want - heck, I'd buy a Skyline GT-R if I wasn't afraid of destroying one by accident. (I wonder if people in Japan feel this way about Corvettes...)

Re: Ugly Cars
Monaro, Commodore, they're all the same to me Although I believe Aust's biggest technological achievement is the Carbontech Redback Spyder. It's just too bad they didn't mass-produce it. The most POPULAR though are Falcodores rather than Monaros and FPVs.RedCarDriver wrote:The Falcon and Commodore are NOT the best things Australia have done for the automotive industry. But still not the prettiest.

Hye, guys, the only reason I said "$100000000" plus or minus a few zeroes was to show my disbelief at the ffact that somebody would buy a Escort over a Veyron...
Anyhow, the Redback is amazing, especially for a "backyard shed" car (which it isn't really, but it was designed by one man...), and the Elfin has a V8 stolen from the HSV R8... With 1/2 the weight... Think Caterham style
Anyhow, BACK ON TOPIC, one car which I reckon should be wiped off the face of the earth is the Proton Savvy. I don't want to burn your eyes by posting a picture, so if you're really brave, and like wearing eye protection, search it up. The name should tell you everything...

Looks to me like an elongated Smart. I'm surprised it could get uglier.

The original one already sucked...the For 4 was a disgrace in the motor industry...Koenigsegg_Rox wrote:Looks to me like an elongated Smart. I'm surprised it could get uglier.

Re: Ugly Cars
Yeah well, I don't know much about Scion so, yeah. It just LOOKS like an elongated Smart.
Re: Ugly Cars
JDM = Japanese Domestic Market, or it is J-style tuning... I wouldn't call this an original Japanese Market front end, or compare it with Chargespeed an the like, lol. More like Custom.Zero260 wrote:Definitely a Scion xA with a JDM Pikachu face lift.Koenigsegg_Rox wrote:Looks to me like an elongated Smart. I'm surprised it could get uglier.
Re: Ugly Cars
That was my attempt at being funny. I'm well aware what JDM is.
Damn forums... You have to put a [/sarcasm] to make sure people don't think you're an idiot when you're just joshin' around. Maybe that should be my sig. I'm sarcastic half the time anyways.
