I think they killed off the Monaro because it wasn't getting as many sales as projected, and the VXR and GTO were selling much better. I don't mind Holdens or Fords ( Whoops, now bogan is going to kill me xD )

Most likely the Euro version will get the Vaxhuall Monaro VXR instead of the GTO as both GTO and Monaro VXR are based off the Holden Monaro here in Australia.
