unnecessary
i was thinking about 2MB cache CPU, coz this one got only 1MB, but it was too expensive according to my actual financial situation
HT, 1MB cache and 800FSB is more important for me. If i want 3,2 i can still overclock it easily
thats just my opinion, that the external frequency of CPU doesnt matter that much.
Intel Pentium 4 2.5ghx
1gb of DDR RAM
BFG GeForce FX 5500 OC with 256mb of DDR video Ram- my pride and joy.
220gb hard drive space
DVD-RAM drive
CD-RW drive
Saitek Cyborg Evo joystick
A full giga-spec machine! Room for all my games, and the grunt to run most of em (tho FarCry can lag at times). I'd get a 3.2 ghz, but I dont have that kind of money to burn.

Ehh.. For the price of one of those, you shouldve gone ahead and gotten an AMD. 800mHz may seem like alot, but the run cycles on those things get hogged down by how bad it runs. AMDs run at slower speeds but since they run better, they make up for their slower speed. So basically Pentiums are just really fast, crappy CPUs.Dragon-of-Rune wrote:At a previous post i told you guys that i am gona have a new p4 3,2 ghz cpu, but i changed my mind and got this one yesterday Intel Pentium 570J 3.8 Ghz, 800 MHz
Well, no, i take that back. They arent crappy. But compared to the way AMDs run and are made, they just seem stupid to me. i guess. You shouldve gotten a 64fx.
