Nope. My weapon of choice is Paint Shop Pro. Much cheaper, and can do everything I need it to do.

I've always used MS Paint. I know it perfectly.

But just recently I'm also beginning to work with Photoshop. But I'm also a complete n00b at it.

Yup - I use a mixture of MS Paint and MGI Photosuite - both of which are free (I got Photosuite on a PC Plus Cover CD) and do everything I need. Basically, I edit with Paint, then convert to JPG with Photosuite (cos Paint screws the conversion for some reason!)

What is the latest version of Photoshop? I think I have version 7.0. I don't really use many of the features apart from resize/contrast/text/cutting.

With Photoshop, and using the latest versions and plug-ins of it, you could do almost everything that you could imagine. 8)

Is there a massive difference between CS1 and CS2??

If not, I won't upgrade...
