Hi there I found out from a friend that my top speed was not so top...!!!???
Without cheating and almost blown my skyline's engine i finaly did 382.70 klm/h (237.79 mil/h). I also heard that rx7 is the best top speeder. I tried it but i was n't happy with the results.

A Greek NFSUer....

IMHO Skyline definetely is one of the best cars for dragging. I dislike how it acts on start, going from left to right several times itself, so I like RX-7 more.

But I believe you can reach better speed with this car. Be sure you have the proper drag TJ upgrades (Engine/ECU/NOS).

Some time ago I tried dragging after I completed NFS in UG mode. Weird, but It appears like you lose TJ upgrades after UG mode is over, so you have to have "live" UG mode driver profile to have higher speed.

yeah uncle bob, skyline is a fine car,I'm a too a skyline lover,but it can't compete with rx7 or s200 in dragging.probably is best for sprints or circuit mode.I almost reached 390 km/h,don't remmeber what TJ's I've installed, but I don't think that you cand go higher than 390.

Dont know if you noticed, but with the save game ditor, you can activate ALL of tj's unpgrades. So I'm not saying anyone is a cheater, but it could happen, that someone is doing so.

This is my fastest, no cheating. I cant go any faster, cause the NOS stops injecting when the engine is too hot. Damn nitro, I don't care, let it blow!

wow... well, i never used more than 3 tj parts, and i can't be bothered to figure out how.. what's the point, it's cheating! But good job on supra, will have to get my act together and beat that!

lol my top speed with my rx7 is 233 mph......... oh well, my drag times are in the low 19s so i gues im happy... Finally ranked in the top 400!!!

I changed my S2000 for the RX-7, and I got a little faster, but I just noticed I blew the engine. 242.25 mph / 389.86 km/h. I'll try later with Engine unique instaced of Gearbox.

And for those who insit Skyline is any good, whith exactly the same parts as the Honda S2000, it doesn't have better acceleration. I tryed it, and it doesn't seem to have better handling. Don't trust the bars. Nissan must have pai'd some extra dollars to have it fixed.

never liked the skyline in the game - it's too big, like a barge. and it just spins too much at start.

The most anoying is starting by a Skyline, you get hit and slowed down by it.

I've tryed again, no engine blown. Made some drafting and got faster. 390.22 km/h. I guess that makes me one of the 390+ guys.

yep, not bad... i kept trying to get 392 but today no luck.. just a bunch of 390's.

I think it's important to get the right cars going against you. I had an RX7 and Skyline, and they proved to be great to draft after, as both were equally quick to the finish line, and if drafting after one I would catch him too early, I could switch a lane and be after another one... But 392 evaded me.

i finally got around to reading this post (start to finish) and man it took a while. but i though what the hell lets give it ago, after just going sub 20 in drag time (see pic) so on my first try after reading the tips i got 389.94. FIRST TRY!. im sure i'll be able to get 390 now and im going to spend a while trying for the record if i do. so pacodog and the rest look out im on a charge. also i think people like those here should not just go for one thing. try and be good at all the events. im fairly good at drift ( see my score in the other thread) and now im finally starting to get better at drag since i changed to rx-7 from miata, although i did get 20.29 in a miata which is probally the fastest for it. (not sure though). so im going to go for the record for fastest top speed and hope to get up there in fastest time. don't know what 19.77 is ranked but it must be good. ok thats it for now i'll keep you posted. expect 390 soon!

getting closer. this is done about 10mins after first post. took me about 3 more tries to get over 390. im so going to get this!. (i hope so anyway
