*sighs*
After watching
this video from EA's Website, I don't think we're gonna be having a functional traffic lights...

I think that city didn't payed their road service team, instead the payed more for the police. Because you know, traffic lights don't stop streetracers

I voted cars. Because I want better cars. NFSU2 had some good cars and some bad ones, EA should at least put back the Intgra (spelling?) and the S2000

It's npt about that... It just increases the intensity of the game. Read my previous post in this thread, I think it's a page back, and you'll know what I imagined if there were functional traffic lights.

For me it's a tie between tuning and realism.

I think the game should focus on the racing with the tuning aspect becoming a secondary thing. I don't really care if it's realistic so long as it's fun!

There'll be no fun if there isn't realism. Realism is the main factor in the game.

Well some people like arcade racing (I do). But realism is ok, but NFS was made to go speeds
that you couldn't do with realizm.

Stonebullet and A-Spec wasn't really made for realistic gameplay, but there is an aspect of realism to this:
The cars look pretty damn real, and the tunings are real because it can be done,
It's unrealistic because you wouldn't really go out there and drive 200mph down a small road to get away from a cop.

Agree with you A-spec
I dont think that NFS games will make a realism game (like Gran Turismo)
And thaths good...because nfs games wont have a chance to beat Gran Turismo in realism

Not that high level of realism. Atleast like they did in NFS:Porsche. That's enough imo

i prefer all of it to a certain degree. realism just ruins the fun of an arcade style game. who really wants to spend hours of fun racing in the streets then when you get back to the shop you find out you have an 18 grand repair bill? certainly not me. i'd rather have arcade of realism. let the Gran Turismo type games handle that, NFS always has been and i hope they always will be an arcade game.

i think that realism like it was in Richard Burns Rally would be enough, right ?
hehe just kidding, but i liked semi-realism or arcade-realism in TOCA Race Driver 1

Cars... racing can/should be done with any car you want, doant matter witch. For what I care, you should have the right to race a Wolkswagen bug against a Ferrari Enzo.
