Yeah, some of those Driving Missions are really hard. The last one is a b****.
@EmptyWords
When you race in Arcade mode you have the option to tune your car. It's called quick tune. When you select a car and track and press OK you are taken to the race screen, where you can choose A-Spec,B-Spec,etc.
Quick-Tune is one of the options.
There you can adjust the weight and power of your car amongst other things.

I got the F1 this morning and gave it a quick blast on El Captain.
IT'S AWESOME! I don't know what your problem is Empty
The 0-100kph time is lke 2 seconds and the quarter is 9-something, which is pretty good considering that it has to make 6 gear changes.
My only complaint is the suspension; it's a little bit hard.
And about your PS2, I think the laser is wearing out, or needs to be cleaned. That is usually the diagnosis when you can't read DVD's anymore (GT4 is a DVD).

It makes loud clicking noises when it loads, and It now does not play any games
jacoja's FAQ's:
What colour is your Formula GT Bogan?

nah me thinks thats the cd drive itself thats screwed, dunno wat exactly, but mayb the motor or a spring had become dislodged..so if the cd cant turn, the laser cant readjacoja06 wrote: It makes loud clicking noises when it loads, and It now does not play any games(what do you expect from an oldy!?). Does this mean the laser is totally stuffed?

Oh . . . ummm . . . I'm not criticising your pulling-things-apart skills, but it's pretty tricky if you don't know what you're doing. I tried it once and it took me ages to figure it out.jacoja06 wrote:offtopic: I am going to perform an operation on my black playstation![]()
ontopic: btw, any screenshots taken of your guys "Formula Gran Turismo's"?
But if it's broken then I suppose that you haven't got much to lose
And I'll get pics of my F1 in a few days
My Fgt picts are back on this page: http://forum.nfsunlimited.net/viewtopic ... &start=100boganbusman wrote:And I'll get pics of my F1 in a few daysPost some pics of your one!

^I think this will work^. It usually goes black and white for me, if it is not connected properly, or connected in on an angle. But you might need a whole new cord.mohsan1988 wrote:It may be a faulty RGB cable. have you ever tried changing that?

omg i bin away from dis topic for ages! dunno wen i can get anymore pictures on ere. i made some crazy air-tastic photos of a 3000GT on the swiss alps, but i'm runnin outta room on my two memory cards - i got like 90 pictures!
@ jacoja: i pulled my ps2 apart once, and found one of the rails that the laser runs along had fallen out of its fixings. used superglue to put it back in place - it promptly stopped working. now, i have a slimline ps2! my old chunky one now site on a shelf next to my sound system (it opens and closes, but it wont read discs. as in, it closes, then it just sits there doin nothin, not even a disc error message. nada.
@ dude who's bro had a release date ps2: all the realease date ps2 were buggered. i got one and it started ruining disc after 2 months. sent it away 2 get fixed, and sony sent me a console that they had already 'fixed'. yeh so one dint work either, then my dad bort me 1 on amazon for 150 quid. which i traded for the slimline wen it came out. no probs so far wiv it.
P.S. : sorri for long post, but i thort i'd just let everyone know that blockbuster video r ez to rip off. my original GT4 disc got scratched to hell (by me, not the ps2), so i swapped it for a blockbuster copy; just went in, rented a copy, switched the discs, and put the case in the quick-drop bin. EASY!
P.P.S : i'll be back at some point wiv a truckload of pics, so watch this space! also, i got the white FGT wiv red + green stripes: pics to follow. PEACE OUT!
