Well, my real life name is Morten, and the change to Morty went like this:
Morten (the start)
Mor10 (in English, Mor-TEN)
Mor10 (in Norwegian, Mor-TI)
Morty (modified version of Morti)

I might be a bit extreme on this, but I'm actually thinking of changing my real name, from Morten Endre to Morty André... Most of my friends (and some of my relatives) call me Morty, and I think Morty André sounds better than my current name... :)
I might put up a poll on this actually (but not in this thread) :P

Morty André, not a bad name! But just curious, how's the André pronounciation differ from my Andre? Image

No offense really if your name is really Benis, but I think the only reason he but benis was because he's afraid that the word BENIS - when replaced the B with a P - would sound too explicit.

I think it is not necessary to explain from where does my nickname come

BTW My name is Daniel Alvarez, but I want to change my surname... Something like Daniel Schumacher, or Daniel Speedster, or Daniel Larusso  or... Daniel Shan   nah seriously.... Other good names would be Dani-el-Capone.. or Dani Skywalker.... and Daniel Coolman

_______

the 'é' sounds stronger than the simple 'e'
It is a sign used very often in Spanish language. that sign makes the vowel to sound stronger...
I mean... 'Andre' would sound like ANdre , while 'André' would sound like AnDRE... taking more emphasis the latest part of the word. Do you get it? Its not easy to explain with words... LOL.

I'm not gonna change my surname, since those are the places my grandparents come from. Bjerknes is from my mother's side, and Gjerde from my father... And the concern for my relatives is why I haven't changed name yet, I'm not sure what my dad would say (he likes more traditional names). Morten is from my mother's father (Markus), and Endre is from my mother's mother (Ellen). So how can I do the change without ruining my family? Well, my grandmother had a middle name, Andrea... :D
And based on the pronouncing differences, I think I might go for Andre, not André, but on the other hand, I'm not sure if the pronouncing difference is the same in Norwegian... No one said this was gonna be easy :P

S2000_Skyline: Try this (if your keyboard is similar to mine):
For ä, ë, ï, ö, ü: press the ¨/^/~ button and then the letter.
For á, é, í, ó, ú: press Ctrl+Alt+\ and then the letter.
For à, è, ì, ò, ù: press Shift+\ and then the letter.
Or, run charmap.exe :P

I don't know really, I learned German for 5 years, and I still suck at it... I guess I had the wrong focus when I learned it, focusing on grammar instead of stuff that would help me understand and be understood... :P

Ok my story is pretty long here i started:

F irst i was and i mean "WAS" a fan of pokemon and my username is Pokemon Breeder then i got bored of it and changed it to Pokemon Ranger then i got bored again so i chaned it to Dark Ranger and i sticked with it for like a few years...then i got bored of it....i changed it to Dark Criminal....but im not satistified so i kept thinking what things i should add on to "Dark Criminal" then i was thinking hard....i tried fusing Dark Ranger and Dark Criminal then i came up with the idea making DR. Dark Criminal.....the DR stands for Dark Ranger...not a doctor...lol!! then i got interested with the XMOD vinyl in NFSU dunno why its pretty funny but yeah...u can also see me using it to my Miata MX- 5..too bad thrs no XMOD vinyl in NFSU 2 but yeah...so i came up with DarkXMOD....but i feel like going back to DR. Dark Criminal...lol!!! and i made it more interesting so i turned it into €DR. Dark Criminal

Ahh...yeah...My username is pretty random..."Jacoja06" :?
Well first, it was the username which I used for the School I just left,..'Jaco' as part of my Surname, "Ja" from the "Ja" of my name 'James' , and the "06" is from the year in which we leave school (2006).
Everyone in our class had to do this, and since I got it from when I was in year 3, It has always been my everyday username. :D

So if any of my classmates from my old school, decide to look through NFSUnlimited.net, and they find me, then they will know exacly who I am! :x
