Believe it or not, but many sounds are simulated in modern cars.
This, however, is one of the more pathetic ones :p

Step one: Go to your local race with a tape recorder.
Step two: Put a couple of large speakers under your back bumper.
Step three: Play the tape as you drive around.

There you go, now you're car sounds fast!
